Chef Pisghetti is a friend of Ted and George. He owns an Italian restaurant and he is a perfectionist chef who refuses to sell substandard food. He would rather close the restaurant for the day if he is not satisfied with the food that day.
His wife, Netti, also works at the restaurant. They have a restaurant cat, Gnocchi, who is generally allowed to walk around freely, unless Gnocchi is suspected of bad behavior.
The Chef tends to have a lot of problems with his business. The Man and George are there to help.

- As a child, he had a pet pig named Piccolo Porkino, revealed in the episode, Hundley’s Truffle Trouble.
- He makes his first cameo appearance in Curious George 2: Follow that Monkey.
