Mr. Walter Bloomsberry is a major character in Curious George. He is the father of Junior Bloomsberry and a retirement boss of Ted (The Man in the Yellow Hat). He raises Junior as his son years ago. He is an elderly man with skinny arms and legs and is between 70-80 years old most likely he seems to be very worried about the museum closing and is struggling to find ways to fix it so Ted Schakleford suggests he brings home the lost shrine of zagawa unfortunetly he can’t do it because he is as he says “really, really old” and would die on the first day in the jungle so he sets Ted to get the idol when Mr. Bloomsberry finds out it’s just a small idol he is worried about what they’re going to do about the museum after George and Ted restore the real Idol Mr. Bloomsberry happily announces the museum is staying

His voice was first portrayed by Dick Van Dyke and then later Fred Tatasciore.

Gene Hackman were originally Mr. Bloomsberry before Dick Van Dyke was cast.
